General Information:

DC B-H Hysteresis Loop: Automatic measurement of basic magnetization curve and magnetic hysteresis loop under static state of soft magnetic material. Accurate measurement on static magnetic characteristic parameters such as initial permeability μi, maximum permeability μm, saturation magnetic induction Bs, remanence Br, coercive Hc and hysteresis losses Pu.

Conforms to international standard IEC 60404-4, IEC 404-7.

Compatible materials: soft magnetic ferrite, permalloy, amorphous, nano-crystal, iron powder core, electric ferrite and stalloy etc.

Features:

 

  • Sample shapes: toroid, E- and U-shape closed samples; strip (bar) and chip-shape open samples.
  • Direct winding for closed samples: sample material, magnetizing coil (N1) and measuring coil (N2) to form a no-load transformer.
  • Measure magnetic field intensity through measuring magnetization current, its precision to capture magnetic field is up to 0.1%.
  • Implement electronic integrator to measure magnetic induction, zero drift of integrator can be auto-corrected through software.
  • Solenoid or permeameter used for open samples: inner field can be measured by an embedded magnetic potentiometer (sold separately).
  • Testing methods: analog ballistic method and magnetic field sweep.
  • Analog ballistic method used to measure basic magnetization curve, can accurately measure magnetic characteristic parameters on magnetization curve: μi, μm, Bs and μ-values at any point.
  • Analog ballistic method and magnetic field sweeping used to measure saturation hysteresis loop, can accurately measure magnetic characteristic parameters on hysteresis loop: Bs, Br, Hc and Pu. Special note: analog ballistic method exclusively developed to measure hysteresis loop, can greatly improve the accuracy of Hc and Br.
  • Automatic demagnetization prior to μi measurement via 10 Hz AC saturation demagnetization .
  • Select to test single parameter with analog ballistic method to save time, the time of each testing point can be set from 0.1 second to 0.9 second.
  • B-speed feedback adopted to automatically adjust the density of points based on the shape of magnetic characteristic curve of sample, and curve can also be measured more accurately with user-predefined points.
  • Powerful software functions with minimal technical requirements for operator.
